Jaeya holds a passion for bringing peace and conflict resolution into her community through fostering effective dialogue about current events.
Jaeya Taxali, a member of LeadTalks, is a senior at South Lakes High School. Jaeya holds a passion for bringing peace and conflict resolution into her community through fostering effective dialogue about current events. She additionally loves gaining new insight by talking to new people and understanding differing perspectives to a situation. Moving on, Jaeya joined LeadPeace to increase her scope of influence and prove that teenagers can make a significant difference within their community. In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball and tennis, she is an elected member of class council, served as a member of the executive team that started the student-run blanket company ‘Baba Blankets’, she founded the UNICEF UNITE club at South Lakes, and she is in an advanced choir. Additionally, Jaeya loves to travel to new places and embrace herself in new cultures. All in all, Jaeya is extremely grateful to work with such a diverse community of people at LeadPeace.
